WHAT IS IT?
The mission of the Annual Fund is to enhance education in all of our schools, and make it accessible to everyone.
WHY IS IT NEEDED?
Our schools must remain progressive in this competitive world. We must expand course offerings and programs to further challenge students. It is also Catholic tradition to make our schools accessible to families at any income level by providing tuition assistance.
WHEN IS IT HELD?
We kickoff the Annual Fund campaign in the fall, starting with a mailing and followed by the Phonathon. This year’s Phonathon is scheduled for October 18th and 19th. You can give any time during the year and it all counts.
WHO GIVES, AND HOW MUCH?
Parents. Grandparents. Administrators. Faculty. Staff. Alumni. Friends.
This year, our target is $250,000. Every donation to the Annual Fund, large or small, helps our schools advance and is fully tax-deductible. Some businesses match employee donations. You can set up an endowment in your family’s name, leaving a legacy for years to come. To see who has already given to the Annual Fund, click here.
WHO BENEFITS?
Immediately, our students benefit as we enhance programs. Whether it means getting them accepted into the finest colleges and universities in the country, or preparing them for rewarding careers, or equipping them for rigors of middle and high school. Families benefit from an institution that values community and promotes safe, social interaction. Society benefits when we send forth a generation of people who are determined and qualified to meet tomorrow’s challenges.
WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?
All undesignated or "Where Needed Most" donations will go to fund the operations of Juan Diego Catholic High School, Saint John the Baptist Middle School, Saint John the Elementary Middle School, and Guardian Angel Daycare. Your gift will make up the gap in tuition to maintain academic excellence, enhance programs, and provide tuition assistance. Designated donations go directly to the program or school you indicate.
HOW CAN MY SMALL DONATION HELP?
No donation is too small. Collectively our donations add up to big rewards. We’re hoping for 100% participation!
WHAT IF I ONLY WANT TO GIVE TO ONE SCHOOL?
You may direct your contribution to the school of your choice. You may even request that it be designated to a specific program or department.
Does my employer do corporate matches?
There are hundreds of businesses that may not give to religious organizations, but will match their employee's donations to our school. Check out this list and obtain forms from your employer.
HOW DO I MAKE A DONATION?
